1. What Support at Home Compare is

Support at Home Compare (homecarecompare.com.au, "we", "us"; ABN 71 835 181 543) is an independent information and comparison service operated in Australia. We compile publicly available aged-care provider information and published prices and present them so families can compare in-home care providers by suburb. We are not a government body, not My Aged Care, and not a care provider.

2. Information only — not advice

Everything we provide is general information compiled from public records and providers' own published prices. It is not health, legal, financial, or aged-care placement advice, and not a recommendation to engage or avoid any provider. Provider details and prices change and records can contain errors or delays — always confirm directly with the provider and with My Aged Care (1800 200 422) before making a decision.

3. Source data and its limits

Provider listings are derived from the Australian Government Aged Care Service List (CC BY 4.0). Prices, where shown, are the providers' own published rates as we last collected them. We aim to refresh regularly but do not guarantee completeness, accuracy or timeliness, and the absence of a provider or price does not mean it does not exist.

4. The matching service

If you use "get matched", you ask us to prepare a shortlist and you consent to us sharing the details you provide with providers that fit your needs so they can contact you. Using the service is free for you and places you under no obligation to engage any provider. You can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.

5. How we are paid

Families are never charged. Where a provider we introduce is engaged by a family, that provider may pay us a referral or placement fee. This never changes the price you pay the provider, and we list all providers for your area regardless of whether we have an arrangement with them.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes those rights. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude other warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information or the matching service.

7. Data licensing

Underlying provider records are © Commonwealth of Australia, used under CC BY 4.0. Our compilation, matching and presentation are our own.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version always applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
