Privacy policy

Who we are

Support at Home Compare (homecarecompare.com.au; ABN 71 835 181 543) operates in Australia and handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

From you: only what you enter in the "get matched" form — your name, email, optional phone, suburb/postcode, the type of care you're after, and your funding status. We also keep basic delivery logs.

From public registers: aged-care provider and service information as published in the Australian Government Aged Care Service List, and providers' own published prices. This is public-record information, not gathered from you.

How we use it

To prepare and send your provider shortlist, to respond to enquiries, and to send service messages. We only email people who asked us to, and every email has an unsubscribe link (Spam Act 2003 compliant).

Who we share it with

If you use the matching service, we share the details you provide with aged-care providers that suit your needs so they can contact you about their services — this is the core of the free matching service and you consent to it when you submit the form. We also use Resend to deliver our own emails. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with providers if you only browse the site without submitting the form.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe any time via the link in any email, and you can ask us to access or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@homecarecompare.com.au. Note that once we've shared your details with a provider at your request, that provider holds its own copy under its own privacy policy.
